My 2-year-old loves this. It is a bit bright for a night light, but if you set it on a dim color like red or orange it isn't so bad.
My toddler abuses this thing and it keeps on working. I love the remote to dim the light and put the timer on, the battery lasts forever without charging that way.
I was very skeptical about this, but I was willing to try because I wanted my son to sleep through the night and in his own bed and I had tried everything! My son loved the bear and liked having the light right next to him and easily accessible when he does wake up. My son has generally been sleeping in his own bed and when he does wake up, he goes back to sleep easily. I'm happy with it so far and I really think it does help to transition kids to their own bed. Very happy!

Once we moved my son to a toddler bed, we needed a light for him to be able to read with during his “quiet time” before bed since his isn’t bright enough. I did a lot of research on different lights. We didn’t need a light to be on all night- just for reading before bed and in the am before if he wakes before we come to get him. This really is an excellent light for toddlers- it’s cute, it’s durable, it is bright enough to read with and it’s easy to turn on and off. The remote, for us isn’t all that great. I bought it with the hopes that I could turn off the light once my son fell asleep without opening the door, but you have to be pretty close (I would say within 5 ft with nothing interfering) for it to register. There is a timer function, which I was so excited for, but if your child turns the light on and off again, the timer function resets and won’t work. So, with that being said, I have two things that I would have LOVED to have seen in this light. 1- a Bluetooth or WiFi function to be able to remotely turn off the light without entering my child’s room or 2. A toddler lock on the on/off switch.

Our 2-year-old is starting to be able to climb out of his crib, so we wanted to have a light to at least keep him from hurting himself doing so. This light is pretty adorable, and it's got an impressive amount of settings and features (can set to stay at one color, to cycle abruptly to different colors, to fade into different colors, 3 timer settings or it can just be left on indefinitely). If needed I would feel safe leaving this in the crib with our son. It's very soft and almost squishy, rubbery plastic and presents no choking hazards. Some of the colors are brighter and more saturated, while others are soft and dim. Since you are able to select a constant color, it gives options for how bright the room will be during nap/sleep time. There are even 2 settings for white (one bright, one dim). This thing really is awesome. I can't attest to the battery life at this point but we plan to just leave it plugged in all the time anyway.

I highly recommend this to anyone with an infant. I plan to get a few more. You just have to watch what company you buy from.

The colors are nice (a bit bright for a night light though), the color changing effects are cool, and my kid loved tapping it to change modes.
